The Brief

A great room held by stone, glass, and the garden.

A double-height great room in Memorial, held by stone block walls and a floor-to-ceiling glass plane open to the pool and garden beyond. A low cream sectional and chunky wood-base lounge chairs settle the room around a pair of live-edge tables, with a single dark stone hearth grounding the long wall.

Living Room Specification

Linen, leather, walnut, and brass.

A palette of warm naturals with metallic punctuation. Linen and bouclé soften the seating, dark walnut and lacquered finishes weight the joinery, and brushed brass with antique bronze carries the only metallic note across the room.
